I am Riaan and here is a little bit about me and how I fell in love with Photography and Film.
From a young age I was around camera equipment, my Oupa had cameras and projectors and I always found it so fascinating, learning how that technology worked with reel film and not a memory card. What a coincidence it was that the day I was born my Dad went and bought a video recorder, which became apart of our life with every milestone being recorded. The memories that we have from these few video tapes growing up just brings so much joy. Who knew that filming and photography would become something I would do as my job (I mean passion).

In 2016 my passion became a reality when I got my first Canon DSLR to film my first wedding, which was for a great friend of mine, from there I self taught myself to film, edit and put together films and pictures for families and couples that can last a life time. Filming and capturing photo’s isn't just so it can go into a photo album, its to look back at moments of how we grew old and what we did in our youth, allowing generations to see what we did (so that they can also laugh at our funny hairstyles and fashion sense) because I mean not like we didn’t laugh at our parents crazy fashion sense in the 80’s.
This isn't just a passion of mine it's my life, it's something that brings me so much joy to be able to capture these beautiful love stories or family memories.
